Coalition Meetings

Meetings will be held at the PHP Conference Room on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 4 PM at PHP Service Center unless prior notification is received.

2010 Meeting Schedule

The Parent Pledge provides parents with an opportunity to engage in constructive, positive practices and change community norms around adolescent alcohol and other drug abuse.

The Parent Pledge, designed by the Santa Ynez Valley Coalition, states that parents will not supply or permit in their homes, the use of alcohol or abuse of other drugs, including over-the-counter drugs by minors.  The goal of the Parent Pledge is to create a visible network of drug-free homes in the Santa Ynez Valley.

You can submit the Parent Pledge on line below or you can print a hard copy of the Parent Pledge and send it to the SYV Coalition by mail.

Online Parent Pledge

We invite you to join other concerned parents in helping to create a healthy, drug free lifestyle for our youth by signing the Parent Pledge, which states:

“I will ensure that all social events in my home for teens are chaperoned by a parent and that
I will not serve alcohol or allow alcohol or other drugs to be used by teens in my home.
  I also agree to inform my son or daughter that I have signed this pledge.”
